Cor de Tangerina
Vegetarian restaurant
Cor de Tangerina is a sustainability project that began in 2006, right in front of the Guimarães Castle.
With the primary goal of achieving an active participation in sustainable development, their activity extends in three fronts:
- Restaurant and catering – Step into the restaurant to try their imaginative, bold and natural lacto-ovo vegetarian meals and pastry.
- Fair trade and organic farming – In addition to the sale of products in their space, Cor de Tangerina organizes Mercadinho, a weekly market (Saturdays) at the Cloister of the Alberto Sampaio Museum (read more).
- Workshops – In order to promote creativity and educational skills around nature, food and creativity, Cor de Tangerina also organizes workshops. Some of the topics already covered include artisan bread, vegetarian cuisine, bio food and fair trade, short stories and creative recycling.
