Founded in 2016 in Coimbra, EcoXperience sells ecological detergents made from used cooking oil.

Its innovative formula EcoX® democratizes the value of oils in any home or commercial establishment, through a fast and safe recycling process. As a result, 100% biodegradable detergents are generated with cleaning characteristics similar to those of the leading brands in the market.

EcoXperience works daily on developing ideas for more efficient, cost-effective and accessible recycling for all.
When discarded incorrectly, cooking oil in its normal state is a hazardous waste to the environment. In addition, it is a contaminating substance because it doesn’t mix with water and has a negative impact on plumbing, water and soil.
With EcoX® solutions, the oil is completely transformed into water-soluble components that are 100% biodegradable. Depending on the environment in which it is found, 60% of these components naturally biodegrade within 24 hours of use.

EcoX® solutions have been developed and tested to work with different oils such as: vegetable oil; peanut oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, corn oil and olive oil.
Two ranges are available – domestic and educational – thus contributing to the education of children in ecology issues.

EcoX® cleaning products are tested in laboratory by certified scientists. When instructions are followed in full, they are safe to handle in a domestic or professional environment. In the specific case of SOAPY®, additional dermatological tests were carried out by external entities to prove safety for children.

After using all the experiments of the first kit, you can buy just a recharge and reuse the rest of the material (goggles, gloves, tank and spatula).
