Living Place develops awareness and environmental education actions, both with companies, schools, families, associations and groups of friends. The list of activities includes:
- Environmental education programs;
- Welness and active tourism: hiking, yoga in the forest, pilates, martial arts and others;
- Scientific tourism: birdwatching, amphibian, bats, insects observation and other;
- Events, workshops, seminars and thematic fairs.
Many of Living Place‘s actions are developed at Villa Maria – Nature Tourism, a 5-hectare rural and forest area in Pampilhosa. It’s a natural space that encompasses the environmental, educational and eco-tourist concepts and that is being subjected to a plan of management and reforestation with native species.
The project also aims to increase the importance of biodiversity in the daily lives of populations, as well as the central and necessary collaboration of all citizens in environmental preservation.
