The hotel building resulted from the recovery and expansion of a ruin. The typical design of the old manors of the region was kept and combined with modern comfort.

Monte da Provença produces more than half of its electricity through photovoltaic panels. Warm water and central heating are a result of solar collectors, aided by a pellets boiler on colder or rainy days. During the summer, both heating and cooling is done by the underfloor. And if you are traveling with an electric vehicle, the unit has two Tesla chargers.
