Quinta Pedagógica da Caria (Caria Pedagogical Farm) offers memorable experiences through guided tours, workshops and the organic farming products they produce.
Just 40 minutes from Lisbon, in the West region, Caria’s school farm is a quiet place that offers a harmonious blend of sensory, pedagogical and outdoor experiences.
In addition to the recreational area, terrace, playground and pedal car track, Quinta Pedagógica da Caria includes a garden (currently under organic certification process by Sativa); a stable with 2 donkeys; 10 sheep; 6 goats and about 20 chickens; a museum nucleus with old tools and also a forest space with a fitness circuit.
Activities include:
- guided tours for school groups (from kindergarten to university), seniors groups, people with special needs or others;
- workshops with different educational topics;
- event space rental;
- preparing vegetable baskets for sale, as well as derivatives of the garden excess (jams, dried fruits, dehydrated).
