It all began with four old rural houses of basalt stone awaiting for a new life.
They were then carefully restored, preserving their history and character. The renovation took into consideration norms inherent to the tourist activity, but also the mitigation of the environmental impacts associated with its use.
Tradicampo consists of 4 cottages with a total of 5 bedrooms. Casa da Fonte and Casa da Talha are independent houses, while Casa do Tanque and Arribana form a set designated as Casa do Pátio (houses of the courtyard), sharing the outdoor patio among themselves.
In these traditional stone houses you will find a charming mix of tradition and modernity with a luxurious eco-friendly concept which will allow you to experience authenticity and comfort, while relaxing in cosy atmospheres.
Inside traditional furniture and contemporary objects offer authenticity and comfort. Outside the gardens provide dazzling views, with the deep blue sea as the backdrop.
The environmental sustainability policy has been applied from the design phase of the units. Some of the sustainability practices include: the heating of water using solar-thermal systems, control of water consumption, LED lighting, provision of bicycles, preferential use of wooden stoves for indoor heating.
Since 2012, this sustainable performance has earned Tradicampo Eco Country Houses an annual recognition with the eco-award “Green Key” and the Gold level of Tripadvisor‘s “Green Leader” program.
